Description

Habit: 
Similar to var. paniculata but the whole plant covered with a dense yellowish brown tomentum, finally glabrescent.

Distribution: 

Northern Australia, Lesser SundaIslands (Sumba, Timor), New Guinea, Philippines (Apo Island in Mindoro Strait).

Ecology: 

In grassy fields, on rocks, from sea-level to ca
1200 m.
