General comments:

General comments. Known from only 2 collections, A. hylophila remains one of the enigmatic species in the Thai flora. There is considerable distance between the two provinces where it has been collected (Nakhon Sawan and Ubon Ratchathani) and it seems surprising that the species, which has large, showy flowers, has not been collected anywhere in between during the past 65 years.
