5-merous, 3–4(–5) mm, fleshy; papillae absent; laticifers visible in corolla and the midveins of calyx lobes, isolated or in rows, elongated; calyx creamy or purplish, not evidently reticulate, ± shiny, cupulate, 1/2–2/3 as long as the corolla tube, divided 1/2–2/3 the length, lobes basally overlapping, ovate-triangular, apex acute to acuminate, margins entire; corolla 2.8–3.6 mm, white and sometimes pink or purple-tinged both when fresh and dried, tube 1.5–3 mm, campanulate-cylindric, not saccate, lobes spreading, 3/4–1/2 as long as the tube, triangular or sometimes lanceolate, margins entire, apex acute to acuminate, straight; stamens exserted, shorter than the lobes, anthers ovate to broadly elliptic, 0.3–0.5 × 0.3–0.5 mm, filaments 0.4–0.7 mm; infrastaminal scales 1.1–1.7 mm long, ca. 4/5 of the corolla tube, bridged at 0.4–0.6 mm, oblong-spatulate, rounded, uniformly short fimbriate, fimbriae 0.08–0.2 mm long; styles terete, stigma plus style 1.2–2.2 mm, about as long as to 2 times longer than the ovary; stigmas cylindrical to terete, 0.6–1 mm, ca. as long as the style.
